Using Sylveon

For breeding and training Sylveon, I recommend checking out the Smogon Sylveon Page. Smogon is one of the best resources for planning your team and training competitive Pokemon. I actually haven't used Sylveon a lot, but I see lots of praise for the Calm Mind + Baton Pass set:

  • Sylveon with Leftovers
  • Ability: Pixilate
  • EVs: 252 HP / 240 Def / 16 Spe
  • Bold Nature
  • - Calm Mind
  • - Baton Pass
  • - Substitute
  • - Hyper Voice

    Obtain Sylveon

Sylveon is still an extremely new Pokemon, so it is not available in the older games. It is only available from generation 6 and onward. The method for evolving an Eevee into Sylveon is the same in both X/Y and Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire, so I won't be dividing this into sections. Getting a Sylveon is unique, and involves the new Pokemon Amie feature. Your Eevee must know at least one fairy-type move. This is not optional. If your Eevee does not have a fairy type move, it will evolve into an Espeon or Umbreon. You then play with your Eevee in Pokemon Amie by feeding it, petting it, and playing games. When the number of hearts (affection) reaches two or more, then you are ready to let your Eevee evolve. Simply level it up, and Eevee should evolve into a Sylveon.

In the grand scheme of things, Sylveon is actually one of the easiest Eeveelutions to obtain with very few conditions having to be met. If you don't already have an Eevee, head on over to Eevee game locations.

I do not own Eevee, nor do I claim to. Characters, images, and anything else are © their respectful owners. This is a non-profit fansite. Please do not take any of my content without asking first.
